Stanislav Secrieru
Stanislav Secrieru holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science (NSPSPA, Bucharest); was PfP Research Fellow at the NATO Defense College (Rome, 2006); performed as consultant in projects „EU’s Leverage on Russia” (2007) and “Russian and EU policies in common neighbourhood” (2008) carried by European Council on Foreign Relations. He published research papers and academic articles in Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Romania and Moldova. He is co-author of Manual on International Relations (Bucharest, 2006). He is author of book Russia after Empire: Between Regional Power and Global Custodian (Iasi, 2008).
His area of interest: Russian energy policy, security in the North Caucasus, Russian foreign policy in post-soviet space, evolution of “strategic partnerships” Russia-US, Russia-EU, Russia-China.
